Act 1 branch selection appears after the prologue establishes your court. Groveshire appeals if you enjoy:

There is no permanently “wrong” branch for demo completion — secrets like Goose Quest and Beast Hunt remain available — but main quest steps differ enough that mixing guides blindly causes confusion.

Each day still follows audience → explore → Round Table. Groveshire simply weights the petition pool:

Morning audience focus

Expect petitions about trade routes through woodland, missing envoys, superstitious villagers, and scholar requests for relic documentation. Accepting a petition creates or upgrades a quest card; deferring may preserve Treasury but anger People.

You can pursue demo-famous side content without abandoning the main branch:

Schedule optional quests on days with lighter main-branch assignments so failures do not cascade.
