If you want information more than another combat body, Alwena is worth a seat. If your Act 1 cap of six knights is already full of specialists, plan her for a later act or a New Game Plus rotation — you cannot dismiss anyone once invited.

Community-verified steps:

1. Have a free Round Table seat under the current act cap (6 / 8 / 10). If the table is full, she cannot join even if she volunteers.
2. Send every other knight away on missions so nobody remains available in the tower. Multi-cycle quests (2 cycles) make this easier than one-cycle errands that bounce back overnight.
3. Visit the Round Table (or the table interaction that shows empty seats) while the tower is empty of knights.
4. Alwena volunteers — accept her into the roster.

She cannot take quests longer than one cycle herself in reported builds. Do not plan her as your three-cycle emergency carrier.

Common failures

• No free seat — she talks, then nothing sticks. Free a future seat via act progression or a different save plan; you cannot fire knights.
• Someone still home — even one idle knight blocks the volunteer condition. Double-check the roster list before opening the table.
