Arron of Drakovic Castle is the shy heir the Dragon Knight drops on your doorstep after you win the game’s first real boss fight. Wild Wits wrote him as the only knight who can be mid-save rewritten into a different person wearing the same face — via the dragonheart ritual. Curve Games launched Sovereign Tower on August 6, 2026; Patch 1.0.8 later retuned Dragon Knight difficulty, so week-one muscle memory may feel softer now — Patch Notes 1.0.8 and Beat the Dragon Knight.

Unlock steps

1. Progress Act 1 until the Dragon Knight ultimatum and duel / boss sequence are ready.
2. Defeat the Dragon Knight with a prepared Round Table (meals, forge repairs, correct stats).
3. In the following court scene, the Dragon Knight presents Arron as his descendant and hopes the boy will become a true man under your roof.
4. When Arron asks you to make him a great knight, accept.

Who Arron is at baseline

Community sheets paint a timid scholar-knight: very low Strength / Agility / Charisma, modest Magic, and room to master Wits, Agility, and Luck. Traits often listed: Timid, Short Target, Educated, Dragon Expert. Liked quests lean Scouting and Relic Recovery; Diplomacy and Crowd tags are disliked. Favourite meals before transformation: Crêpe and Brizhian Butter Shortbread — Cooking.

He has no strong ruling-style preference, which makes him a flexible affinity project compared to Kind-locked Angelica or Audacious Ursula.

The dragonheart choice

When you acquire the dragon heart relic, Arron may ask to perform a ritual:

Affinity tips

• Listen patiently in one-heart scenes (“Of course, I’m listening”) for early +affinity.
• In the library two-heart scene, ask about former Tower knights and define heroism as hope or right-person-right-time — muscle-brag answers cost affinity on the timid path.
• After dragonheart, the correct mechanical play flips: encourage training, do not tell him to calm down.
• Track resignation risk on Knight Loyalty if you bounce him through Crowd diplomacy he hates.

Common failures

• Losing the Dragon Knight fight — Arron never introduces.
• Full table when the intro fires — accept later via Map Room if funds allow.
• Patch surprise — 1.0.8 changed Dragon Knight tuning and forge repair costs; refresh gear plans.
• Accidental heart ritual — mash-clicking can rewrite a knight you wanted timid.

Gear and quest pairing after he joins

Baseline Arron is a liability on Crowd diplomacy and a quiet asset on Scouting or Relic Recovery. Park him with a stronger escort until levels catch up, and prefer Intendant reveals that unlock Educated or Dragon Expert interactions. If you already own The Wolf or Magic-heavy late recruits, Arron’s timid kit still matters for story texture more than raw clears — unless you accept the dragonheart rewrite.

After Patch 1.0.8, cheaper forge repairs make it easier to keep him fielded after failed teaching quests. Re-check Quest Matcher when his post-heart stats jump overnight.
