Sovereign Tower Early Cycles Walkthrough (1–5)

One verified early-reign path through systems unlocks and Act 1 pressure

Early Cycles Walkthrough

This walkthrough covers Cycles 1–5 of Sovereign Tower — the stretch where Wild Wits teaches audiences, Round Table assignments, Demon rewinds, annex unlocks, and Kitchen affinity snacks before the Dragon Knight ultimatum tightens. The full game launched August 6, 2026 on Steam; these cycles still map closely to the Act 0 / Act 1 demo slice, then carry into the purchased campaign. Because the game branches hard, treat this as one verified path (community cycle guides plus launch-week notes), not the only righteous reign.

For region forks see Groveshire and Gavault. For secrets see Beast Hunt and Rebellion. Systems primers live on How to Play.

Spoiler and branching disclaimer

Expect knight deaths, Demon trips, and faction swings. Your roster order may differ if you spare or execute prologue attackers, side with different counties, or rewind earlier. When outcomes diverge, keep Quest Outcomes and Time Rewind open.

Cycle 1 — Loop tutorial and Angelica

Arlin explains the daily loop. You recruit Angelica, decide whether she keeps a smuggled cat (romance-relevant — Romance Angelica), and accept Carina’s Hammer Lost, Yet Again quest. Meet the Lady of the Tower, who previews annex unlocks as you recruit servants.

Praise Angelica’s cat to surface Animal Lover. Assign her to the hammer quest — Strength / Agility / Luck lean matches the card better than dumping a pure Magic specialist. Outcomes teach that stats, attributes, and party size decide critical success, failure, gold, and affinity swings.

Goals: learn audience → explore → Round Table; log Angelica’s traits; open Lady dialogue.

Cycle 2 — Crypt Demon and first rewind lesson

Unlock the Crypts. The Demon offers rewinds that keep knowledge and archetype progress. Recruit Goberto, accept The Clean Keeper Goose and The Bloody Magpie, and unlock the Forge with Carina. A sisterhood scene between Carina and Angelica often plays near the forge.

Community path: Angelica’s Animal Lover yields an Unexpected bonus on the goose card; Goberto can die on the Magpie climb if Agility is short — a perfect Demon teaching moment. Rewind, reassign, clear both. Buy a hunting bow or repair armour if the UI offers early gear.

Goals: survive first death scare; practice intentional rewind; open forge crafting (Crafting Gear).

Cycle 3 — Intendancy and new faces

Meet characters such as Guilhelm, Alwena, and Gwendan; unlock the Intendancy. Alwena investigates one knight per day — start rotating coverage so traits are public before harder cards (Intendant Guide).

Test knights on Face the Horde; hunting-leaning Goberto often outperforms prestige picks. Keep faction meters readable with the Faction Tracker.

Goals: daily Alwena habit; add Wit coverage via Gwendan; avoid accepting more petitions than seats.

Cycle 4 — Dragon Knight pressure begins

The Dragon Knight ultimatum appears on the horizon. Raise People satisfaction and secure an alliance. Investigate knights, uncover attributes, and accept cards like River Research, Bucolick Diplomacy, and Haunted Lighthouse. Allowing Kutnar Nomads to stay commonly boosts People favour.

Sample sends: Gwendan on River Research; Gwendan + Angelica on Haunted Lighthouse if Magic/Wit mix is needed. Prep beast-research options for Cycle 5.

Goals: People + alliance progress; do not ignore Merchant gold needs for later thresholds.

Cycle 5 — Kitchen snacks and Kill the Beast

Arlin proposes baking snacks — unlock the Kitchen and start affinity meals (Cooking Guide. Feed Gwendan a Croque Monsieur or Crêpe before tough sends. Accept Kill the Beast, keep Nomads if still beneficial, and introduce late Cycle faces such as Ursula and Grelin depending on flags.

Community clear: Gwendan + Ursula succeed on Kill the Beast despite Fear of the Dark / low Strength penalties, earning People + Merchants reputation and ~120 gold — critical toward Dragon Knight requirements. Level-up tips: MAG on Angelica for all-round builds; WIT on Gwendan; MAG on Ursula.

Checkpoint targets often cited: ~8 Merchant satisfaction, ~11 People satisfaction, ~300 gold toward the Dragon Knight’s four-part demand. Exact numbers shift with patches — verify in-UI.

After Cycle 5

  • Continue Cycles 6–7 on Dragon Knight Ultimatum, then finish prep via Beat the Dragon Knight.
  • Lock region path pages for Groveshire vs Gavault.
  • Route secrets with Demon help — Brunhilda, Chester, Sparky/Silgur.
  • Expand annex staff (Witch Belladona, Broker Rupin, Instructor Sagadin) on Tower Servants.

Early cycles are Sovereign Tower’s grammar school: fail safely, rewind with purpose, feed your knights, and arrive at the Dragon Knight with meters — not vibes — on your side.
