Sovereign Tower Knight Attributes Glossary

Known traits, hidden math, and Intendant rumors that decide quest scores

Knight Attributes Glossary

Knights in Sovereign Tower are not just stat sheets. Wild Wits stacks known attributes, hidden attributes, quest-type preferences, and sovereign-style tastes onto every Round Table seat — and after the August 6, 2026 launch, community data dumps finally map what those labels do to score. Curve Games’ writing sells banter; the attribute layer sells why Angelica’s Animal Lover turns a goose card sideways while Goberto’s Clumsy turns a failed climb into extra damage.

This glossary explains how attributes interact with the six stats (including Luck), when Alwena’s Intendancy reveals rumors, and which signature traits reshape Critical Success odds. Pair it with Knight Stats, Cooking (+1.5 affinity and +0.5 quest score on favourite meals), and Quest Outcomes.

Known vs hidden vs Intendant rumors

BucketWhen you see itWhen it applies
KnownVisible in the glossary on recruitImmediately in scoring
HiddenInvisible until story, debrief, or conversationStill active in maths from day one
Intendant rumor (†)Alwena can dig one unknown rumor per daySame as hidden once revealed

Never assume “unknown” means “inactive.” Hidden Fortunate on Angelica already nudges outcomes before you discover it.

Preference system (affinity only)

Liked quest types or conditions give about +1.33 affinity; disliked ones about -0.75. They stack. Preferences do not directly change quest score — meals and attributes do.

Common quest types: Hunt, Assassination, Relic Recovery, Diplomacy, Scouting, Confrontation, Duel, Competition, Research, Rescue, Knight Quest.

Common conditions: Flying Creature, Water, Cute Creature, Climbing, Woods, Crowd, Cave, Ghost, Track, Big Creature, Magic Ritual, Heavy Lifting, Investigation, Help, At Night, Musical, Unethical, Dragon, Need Flying Mount, Intimidation, People Involved.

Sovereign tags on decisions — Tyrannic, Wise, Kind, Audacious, Omniscient — also move affinity when a knight likes or dislikes your ruling style.

Flavour-only keys (Naive dialogue branches, Fear of the Dark, Half-Demon, etc.) still gate Unexpected Outcomes even when they lack a public formula — see Quest Outcomes.

Why meals belong in an attributes page

Favourite meals permanently record taste knowledge and grant +1.5 affinity plus +0.5 quest score for the next send. Chester and Dulahan like every dish — universal kitchen insurance. Full tables live on Cooking.

Practical discovery loop

  1. Recruit → read known traits on Roster.
  2. Spend one Intendancy click daily on the knight you will send tonight (Intendant).
  3. Match type/condition likes before chasing raw stats.
  4. Feed a favourite meal before red-border cards.
  5. Log Unexpected Outcomes that mention traits — they often reveal hidden keys.

Attributes are the quiet half of Round Table literacy — learn them once and every debrief starts explaining itself.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is the difference between known and hidden attributes?

Known traits appear in the glossary on recruit. Hidden traits already affect score maths but stay invisible until conversations, debriefs, or Alwena’s Intendancy reveal them.

Do liked quest types raise quest score?

No. Likes and dislikes mainly move affinity (+1.33 / −0.75). Score comes from stats, attributes, meals (+0.5), and gear.

Which knights like every meal?

Chester and Dulahan accept all six Kitchen dishes. See [Cooking](/guides/cooking/).

Can Alwena reveal every hidden trait?

She reveals Intendant-rumor traits one per day, and only ones you do not already know. Not every hidden flag is rumor-tagged.
