Investigate Yohav, implicate Victoria, or ambush her on a second reign
Gothild of Mana Strala is the Enberg bodyguard tied to Victoria’s worst week. Wild Wits lets you hire her by finishing the Yohav murder investigation — high-Wits Suspect Interrogations that eventually implicate Victoria — or, on a later reign, by completing Victoria’s ambush. Curve Games launched Sovereign Tower on August 6, 2026; treat the two routes as complementary, not identical, and decide which prize you want first.

What Gothild offers
Community sheets place Gothild near Strength 9 / Agility 3 / Charisma 5 / Magic 3 / Wits 9 / Luck 8, armor 6, level 7 — a defensive support knight, not a Victoria replacement.
- Bodyguard — other party members take 1 less damage. This is the reason people spend a tenth seat on her.
- Mute — used by quest outcomes and dialogue.
- Naive — bonus on Help; penalties on Diplomacy and Intimidation.
- Believer (hidden) — bonus from Scholars satisfaction.
- Likes Assassination and Duel; hidden dislike Crowd.
- Favourite meals — Croque-Monsieur and Brizhian Butter Shortbread (Cooking).
- Ending slide is listed as fixed — one farewell regardless of romance or main ending (Endings Guide).
She will not break stat curves. She will keep Victoria, Edith, or a fragile Oliver alive on the final confrontation cards that ask for six knights and ugly Strength / Agility bands.
Path A — Enberg investigation (first reign)
- Open Enberg’s murder investigation into Yohav’s death when the audience appears.
- Send a high-Wits knight on Suspect Interrogations. Gwendan, Tarcus, Epicrate, or a studied Oliver are the usual tools (Quest Scoring).
- Follow the evidence until the chain implicates Victoria.
- Resolve the investigation. Community lists say that resolution frees Gothild to join.
- Accept her with a free Act 3 seat. You cannot dismiss Victoria to make room if you already invited her.
This path can delay or deny a clean Victoria trial recruit on the same save. If you want both names, leave two chairs and be ready to rewind after you understand the fork (Time Rewind).
Path B — Victoria ambush (later reign / NG+)
- On a second run, some guides say you can invite the assassination sponsor early and unlock an ambush mission against Victoria in Mana Strala.
- Other sheets name the card quest_victoria_gank and ask for four knights.
- Succeed the ambush. Gothild joins as the defensive prize.

New Game Plus is the honest place to plan Path B. Do not expect the ambush sponsor line on a blind first save.

Treating Victoria only as a murder suspect can cost you the 67-stat monster. Treating her only as a recruit can leave Gothild in Mana Strala. Say the quiet part in your notebook before you assign the interrogation.
Using Gothild after she joins
Park her on Assassination and Duel cards she likes, or as the third body on any dangerous multi-knight send so Bodyguard shaves damage. Keep Scholars off the floor so Believer pays. Avoid Crowd-tagged festivals.
Feed Croque-Monsieur before the War-ending confrontation if you are collecting Endings Guide the hard way. Six knights at Strength 15 is easier when nobody is bleeding out from a previous emergency.
