Sovereign Tower New Game Plus and Second Reigns

What the Demon offers after Act 3 — and what actually carries over

New Game Plus Guide

Sovereign Tower does not put a classic New Game Plus button on the title screen. Instead, after you finish Act 3, the Demon in the crypts asks whether you are satisfied with your ending — then tempts you into another reign with the knowledge you already earned. Wild Wits and Curve Games designed the full August 6, 2026 Steam release around that second-loop fantasy: reviewers at Gamer Social Club and others describe NG+-style carries as the intended way to see more knights, servants, and dialogue branches.

This guide explains the confirmed post-Act-3 loop without inventing ending names or spoiling every Act 2–3 beat. Pair it with Time Rewind Explained, Sovereign Archetypes, and the Walkthrough Hub for Act 0–1 routes you may want to optimize on run two.

How the second reign starts

According to launch-week reviews:

  1. Complete the campaign through Act 3.
  2. The Demon asks if you are happy with your outcomes.
  3. Declining satisfaction / accepting another loop begins a knowledge-aware replay of earlier acts.
  4. Even if you say you are happy and return to the main menu, you can reload a save positioned just before a decisive late Act 3 battle and still experiment — useful if you want one more try before a full second reign.

There is no separate “NG+ save slot type” documented in marketing copy. Treat the Demon prompt as the canonical entry point.

What carries over

Confirmed by review coverage:

  • Player knowledge — dialogue options that acknowledge prior timelines (Omniscience-style awareness).
  • Sovereign attributes / archetypes — Audacity, Kindness, and related tracks do not fully reset the way faction meters do.
  • Edge information — reviewers specifically note knowing earlier where to find the Witch and knight trainers, unlocking annex power sooner than a blind first run.

Resets or does not fully carry (per the same reviews):

  • Realm satisfaction / faction standing — Merchants, Mystics, Scholars, Nobles, People (and related meters) restart; you still manage politics from scratch.
  • Story state — you replay acts; you do not keep every knight death or alliance win as permanent world history without replaying choices.

Exact inventory/gear carry rules are still being mapped by the community. If your build differs from this summary, check Updates Hub after patches and prefer Steam discussions dated after August 6, 2026.

Why NG+ matters mechanically

First runs teach the daily loop — audience, exploration, Round Table — covered in How to Play. Second runs weaponize foreknowledge:

  • Recruit Tower Servants earlier (Witch, trainer paths).
  • Avoid knight deaths that wasted Cycle 2 in Into Indie Games-style walkthroughs by pre-buffing Agility or Mag before known spikes.
  • Resolve family secrets and romance flags sooner — see Romance Guide and Knight Loyalty.
  • Hit Secret Knights routes with fewer blind rewinds because you already know Goose Quest and Beast Hunt branches.

Demon mid-act rewinds still work inside a second reign. NG+ does not replace crypt rewinds; it stacks knowledge on top of them.

Planning your second reign

Before you click the Demon:

  1. Note which annexes unlocked late on run one — forge vs alchemy vs Intendancy.
  2. List knights you never recruited — Brunhilda, Chester, Sparky, Rufus, Silgur, etc.
  3. Pick a sovereign tone to push harder — Sovereign Archetypes.
  4. Decide whether run two is completionist (secrets + achievements) or narrative (alternate Act 1 branch: Groveshire vs Gavault).

Spoilers to avoid inventing

This wiki does not publish a spoiler dump of every Act 3 ending title until community consensus and careful labeling exist. Reviewers confirm:

  • Multiple narrative outcomes exist.
  • The Demon frames satisfaction with “your ending.”
  • Second loops reveal dialogue and recruit timing you missed.

If you want step-by-step Act 0–1 routes only, stay on the Walkthrough Hub. Full Act 2–3 beat-by-beat pages will expand as spoiler-safe structure is verified — watch Updates Hub.

Solo-only — NG+ is a single-player loop, single-player progression only.

Sovereign Tower’s Demon is not only an undo button; after Act 3 it becomes the lobby for the reign you wish you had run the first time.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Does Sovereign Tower have New Game Plus?

Yes in practice — after Act 3 the Demon offers another reign with carried knowledge and attributes. It is not a separate title-screen mode labeled NG+.

What carries over into a second reign?

Player knowledge, sovereign attributes/archetypes, and early unlock intel (for example Witch and trainer locations per reviews). Faction satisfaction meters reset.

Can I still rewind time during NG+?

Yes. Mid-act Demon rewinds still function. See [Time Rewind Explained](/guides/time-rewind/).

Will this guide spoil Act 3 endings?

No named ending spoilers here. It covers the post-Act-3 Demon prompt and carry-over rules only.
