Gwendan of Villador is the Wise romance that lives on the same knight you already seated at Cycle 3 in Sovereign Tower. There is no extra recruit gate. The work is affinity, tone, and not wrecking his True Noble Soul reform by paying his collector for him. Favourite meals: Crêpe and Croque Monsieur. Launch: 6 August 2026. Slide-changing romance is confirmed on mid-August sheets (Character Endings). Multi-romance penalties on Ursula and Gideon will still erase his bar if you flirt across the table (Romance).

Reform versus romance calendar
Letting him leave to pay the debt himself is the True Noble Soul path (Reform Gwendan, Transformations). That empty-chair window is a terrible time to start chambers scenes — he is not at the table. Finish or pause romance until he returns. Paying the debt for him can lock a lesser goodbye even if pink dialogue already fired.
Goose Quest part 2 may still want him as a cheese courier (Goose Quest). Do not park a three-cycle goose on top of a heart week.
Act 2 murder

Endings
Wise dominant style unlocks Peace, Surrender, and Extended War at Cycle 45 — not Audacious Marriage (Endings Guide). You can finish Gwendan’s romance and still pick Peace. Love Is All does not require Marriage (Achievements).
