Sovereign Tower Known Issues After 1.0.9

Patch 1.0.9 (13 August 2026) is still the latest numbered Steam changelog for Sovereign Tower as of 19 August 2026. Wild Wits and Curve Games repaired Victoria trial mapping, Rufus free-time loops, Alwena assignment, and a skippable act antagonist — then explicitly left Yorhav / Yohav assassination problems under testing. No 1.0.10 hotfix is posted on Steam news at the time of writing. Steam also published a same-day community post titled Praise From The Realm & Other Matters of Knightly Importance beside the 1.0.9 notes — reception and court-talk, not a numbered balance dump. The game remains solo-only, Steam Deck Verified, and on an introductory ~15% Steam discount through 20 August 2026 (confirm the store widget before you buy).

Still open: Yorhav / Yohav assassination

Steam’s 1.0.9 notes use Yorhav; quest sheets and Enberg write-ups usually say Yohav. Same political murder thread. Developers called the remaining bugs complicated and asked for more test time. That means:

• Do not assume 1.0.9 closed Assassinate Yohav, Simulate Yohav’s death, or Enberg-wide variants.
• Keep a manual save (or extra slot) before you accept Enberg assassination cards.
• Sovereign Mode disables manual saves — read Difficulty Tips before you lock that toggle on an Enberg week.
• If a flag such as yohav_dead fires wrongly, or Victoria’s four trials desync, stop and wait for a later patch rather than burning Demon charges blindly (Time Rewind).

Community quest dumps list lethal and diplomatic forks (assassination stat checks versus a high-Wit/Luck simulate death diplomacy card). Both can set death flags that feed Victoria’s trial chain. Treat them as fragile until Wild Wits says otherwise — details on Yohav and Enberg and Get Victoria.

If you still see Victoria “lying” after updating, reload a pre-trial autosave rather than assuming the patch missed you. File Steam tickets only if a new 1.0.9 save still desyncs.

Quality-of-life that can look like bugs

Omni-fast forward stays on after every dialogue choice until you toggle Settings. Players skip heart lines and hunt mercy options, then report “broken romances.” Turn it off for forks (Controls).

Round Table repair appears only after the forge unlocks. If the button is missing, you have not opened Carina’s annex yet (Annexes).

Save hygiene this week

1. Update to 1.0.9 before Enberg or Victoria trials.
2. Keep one slot before assassination audiences.
3. Keep one slot before Cycle 45 if you are ending-hunting (Endings Guide).
4. Do not stack Yorhav, Ligia’s lamp, and Grest pirates in the same three cycles.
5. If a confrontation still skips after 1.0.9, verify files on Steam, then check Updates Hub for a newer number.
