Sovereign Tower Arthur and the Cycle 45 Finale

Stop grinding, lock the Golden Key, then survive the last assignment

Arthur and Cycle 45 Finale

Arthur is the name players search when Act 3 stops being a county tour and becomes a countdown. Wild Wits does not add a new map for this beat. Curve Games launched Sovereign Tower on August 6, 2026. Community walkthroughs treat Arthur as the final assignment window that begins once you have done everything that still grants permanent progress — late knights, county alliances, the Golden Key, Victoria’s trials — and ends when Cycle 45 forces the Emperor ultimatum. The conversation that picks Endings is one talk. Arthur is the homework that talk assumes you already finished.

Heavy Act 3 spoilers. Pair this page with Act 3 Walkthrough for recruit order and World Domination if you are steering Extended War.

When Arthur starts (and when you should ignore XP)

Use this checklist before you treat the run as “ending prep”:

  1. Permanent county routes that are already moving — including South Bay, Enberg / Yohav, Avalon / Edith, Basalt / Ari — are either complete or honestly abandoned.
  2. Late knights you still want have seats. Act 3’s cap is 10 and you still cannot dismiss (Map Room Hiring).
  3. Golden Key state is decided: you hold it, you refused it, or you accepted you will never see Peace-with-Key.
  4. Victoria and Epicrate trials or breakouts are done or scheduled (Get Victoria, Get Epicrate).
  5. Core stats sit near level 15 on the knights you will actually send, not on sentimental Act 1 passengers.
  6. High Damage Risk cards are answered with gear from Key Items and cheaper forge repairs after Patch 1.0.8.

Once those six lines are true, stop wasting capped knights on low-value comedy. Bathhouse goose reruns do not unlock a kinder Emperor. Park veterans on teaching cards only if Quest Scoring still pays an overlevel bonus you need for the confrontation.

The final confrontation (community floors)

Mid-August sheets describe a six-knight closer used for War and Tower Destruction branches: high Strength (about 15), Agility (about 11), Magic (about 7), and Luck (about 4), with Wit still required on the card in your build. Treat those numbers as floors to overshoot, not as a spreadsheet you quote in 2027. Meals add +0.5 score; traits still swing ±1. Patch 1.0.8 reduced weaker-stat penalties and raised overlevel bonuses — bring specialists, not six Goberto clones.

Who belongs on the six:

  • Strength / Agility — Arron after the dragonheart (Patch 1.0.9 limits that ritual to Strength and Agility only — Get Arron), Childeric, Gothild, Rufus if human.
  • Magic — Ligia, Edith, Epicrate, Victoria.
  • Luck flex — Arron, Gothild, or a Map Room hire you kept on purpose.

Do not send Goberto at a Wit 14 party. Do not send Angelica at an Unethical assassination leftover. Read the card tags on Quest Types.

Golden Key, Peace, and Tower Destruction

Arthur does not grant the Key. The Key is already in inventory or it is not. Golden Key owns the two acquisition paths (ten-county Arlin rally versus Angelica’s no-death tea party). This page owns the political commitment:

  • Peace with Key needs the item and an Audacious or Kind dominant style.
  • Tower Destruction is available from every style row if you keep the Key for yourself, then run the same confrontation.
  • Extended War / World Domination still wants Tyrannic or Wise plus the Key gate documented on World Domination.

If the Emperor later offers to take the Key for peace, that is an endings fork, not an Arthur fail. Save before you answer.

Cycle 45 is one conversation

Nothing before Cycle 45 locks the ending list except the style track you accumulated in audiences. Tied or empty styles only unlock War and Tower Destruction. Marriage is Audacious-only. Completing Love Is All does not replace that gate. Character goodbye slides are a second system — Character Endings.

Practical week-of-45 habits:

  • Turn omni-fast forward off (Controls, Patch 1.0.9). You will skip the ultimatum if you leave it on.
  • Keep a manual save before Arthur’s assignment and before the Emperor talk. Optional Sovereign Mode disables that safety (Difficulty Tips).
  • Do not start a new romance the same week. Jealousy numbers will not finish a slide in one kitchen visit.

Suggested last-month order

  1. Close South Bay and other moving counties.
  2. Finish King Slayer if the five-cycle countdown is still red — it belongs to late Act 2, but stragglers reach Act 3 wounded.
  3. Seat Victoria / Edith / Ari / Epicrate / Gothild according to the ten chairs you actually want.
  4. Lock Golden Key yes/no.
  5. Gear the six-knight confrontation party.
  6. Take Arthur, then open Endings Guide beside the ultimatum.
  7. Answer the Demon’s satisfaction prompt toward New Game Plus only after credits, not before.

Arthur is not a secret boss with a health bar. It is the moment the wiki stops teaching you how to hire knights and starts asking whether you meant the sovereign you became.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is Arthur in Sovereign Tower?

The late Act 3 assignment window before the Cycle 45 Emperor ultimatum. Finish permanent counties, knights, and the Golden Key first; then pack a six-knight confrontation party.

Does Arthur pick my ending?

No. Cycle 45 is one conversation gated by dominant Sovereign style. Arthur is the last quest homework that conversation assumes you completed.

Should I keep grinding XP in late Act 3?

Stop once counties, late recruits, and the Key are decided. Low-value cards waste the ten-seat cap. Overlevel bonuses after patch 1.0.8 still help the confrontation — they do not unlock Marriage.

What stats does the final confrontation want?

Community sheets describe a six-knight send with very high Strength and Agility, solid Magic, and Luck around 4. Overshoot, cook meals, and confirm the live card — do not treat a mid-August dump as a patch-proof table.
