Sovereign Tower All Endings Complete Guide
Main endings, True Ending paths, secret endings, NG+ notes
Sovereign Tower contains six main endings plus bad endings, character-specific farewell slides, and a separate epilogue that changes based on how often you used the Demon’s power. Wild Wits built the Cycle 45 Emperor ultimatum as the convergence point where your Sovereign style, faction alliances, knight commitments, and Demon rewinding history combine into one final judgment. This page maps every confirmed ending without spoiling every branch choice that leads there.
Use this page when you reach the Cycle 45 Emperor ultimatum and want to understand which levers control the finale. Pair it with Endings Guide for the shorter version, and Demon Power for the corruption band system.
The six main endings
| Ending | Gate | Dominant Style | Key Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| War | Cycle 45 ultimatum | Audacious | High Audacious track, strong military |
| Extended War | Cycle 45 ultimatum | Audacious + Faction | Maintain war posture into late Act 3 |
| Peace | Cycle 45 ultimatum | Kind | High Kind track, diplomatic focus |
| Peace with Key | Cycle 45 ultimatum | Kind + Key | Hold the Golden Key, choose peace |
| Marriage | Cycle 45 ultimatum | Audacious + Romance | Complete any romance, choose audacious |
| Surrender | Cycle 45 ultimatum | Low everything | Faction collapse, weak archetype |
| Tower Destruction | Cycle 45 ultimatum | Demon corruption 20+ | Reject all options at ultimatum |
True Ending and Epicrates requirement
The True Ending (also called Epicrates in community guides) requires more than a standard completion:
- Recruit all 24 knights at least once across the save file
- Complete the Golden Key path — hold the Key through Cycle 45 and present it at the ultimatum
- Maintain high faction standing across all five factions plus Treasury
- Choose wisely at the Emperor ultimatum — the Wise archetype tracks accumulate from audience choices throughout the run
The True Ending triggers the most expansive epilogue sequence and changes the epilogue narration significantly. It is distinct from the Marriage ending which requires a completed romance but not full recruitment.
Demon Power consequences
Using the Demon’s time rewind affects the finale:
| Rewind Count | Epilogue Effect |
|---|---|
| 0 | Cleanest ending, no corruption references |
| 1–19 | Lighter corruption band — Demon appears in epilogue as observer |
| 20+ | Darker extra scene — Demon claims partial sovereignty |
| Tower Destruction | Demon claims full tower, worst ending |
Patch 1.0.11 does not alter the Demon corruption band thresholds. See Demon Power Ending for the full corruption band documentation.
Character endings and farewell slides
Every knight and tower denizen you romanced or built affinity with appears in custom farewell slides at the ending. The slide content varies based on:
- Romance completion — romanced characters have unique farewell dialogue
- Affinity level — high-affinity non-romanced characters show warm farewells
- Death state — dead characters appear in memorial slides or are absent
- Act 3 choices — specific decisions alter individual slide content
The Character Endings page documents individual slide variations without cataloging every possible combination.
Wise choices and the Emperor ultimatum
The Wise sovereign archetype accumulates from diplomatic audience responses, fair faction balancing, and choosing knowledge over bravado throughout the run. At Cycle 45, Wise players face different dialogue options than pure Audacious or Kind builds.
Wise does not replace Audacious or Kind — it supplements them. A player can have high Audacious and high Wise simultaneously if they balance military strength with scholarly choices.
Secret endings and hidden conclusions
Beyond the six main branches, community sources report:
- Golden Key epilogue variation — presenting the Key changes narration even on non-Peace endings
- Demon sealed ending — using zero rewinds and refusing Demon power entirely at every opportunity
- Knight transformation epilogue — certain knight evolution paths add brief epilogue scenes
These are not separate endings from the main six but modifier layers on top of the final choice structure.
New Game Plus interaction
NG+ carries forward:
- Archetype progress (Audacious, Kind, Wise tracks)
- Recruitment knowledge (not actual knights — each run starts fresh)
- Demon corruption band memory
- Unlocked annex tiers
NG+ does not carry forward faction standing, current knight relationships, or items. See New Game Plus for the full carry matrix.
Endings and save compatibility
Sovereign Tower does not support multiple save slots simultaneously on the same Steam profile. Each new save overwrites the previous. This makes seeing multiple endings in one session impossible without manual backup of save files.
