Quest Finder by Stats and Type

Sovereign Tower presents approximately 312 quest cards at the Round Table across a full campaign. Each card requires specific stat combinations, rewards certain faction standing, and carries risk of Critical Failure, Critical Success, or Unexpected Outcomes. This finder organizes quest types by the stats they require, the knights who typically cover those stats, and the risk profile each category carries.

Use this page when you are standing at the Round Table and need to decide which card to assign to which knight. For the underlying success calculation formula, see Quest Scoring. For individual quest solutions, see the Quest Catalog.

Quest types and their stat requirements

Hunt quests

Hunt cards test Strength and Agility together. Beast hunts in particular often include a secondary Luck component for rare loot drops.

Typical threshold: STR 5–8, AGI 4–7 Risk level: Medium to High Failure consequence: Faction anger, injury, armor damage, possible death Recommended knights: Goberto, Gideon, Silgur, Arron, Angelica (Agility)

Diplomacy quests

Diplomacy cards favor Charisma with secondary Wit checks for negotiation puzzles.

Typical threshold: CHA 5–8, WIT 3–5 Risk level: Low to Medium Failure consequence: Faction standing loss, missed alliance opportunities Recommended knights: Angelica, Ursula, Ligia, Gwendan (Wit secondary)

Investigation quests

Investigation or Research cards lean on Wit as the primary stat.

Typical threshold: WIT 6–9 Risk level: Low to Medium Failure consequence: Missed information, delayed story flags Recommended knights: Gwendan, Oliver, Epicrate

Combat quests

Combat cards test pure Strength with occasional Agility secondary for duels.

Typical threshold: STR 7–10 Risk level: High Failure consequence: Knight injury, armor break, death risk Recommended knights: Gideon, Goberto, Tarcus, Arron

Scouting quests

Scouting cards favor Agility with Luck for finding hidden elements.

Typical threshold: AGI 5–8, LUCK 4–6 Risk level: Medium Failure consequence: Incomplete intel, missed items Recommended knights: Angelica, Ursula, Rufus (Magic), Silgur

Magic quests

Magic Ritual cards require Magic as the primary stat.

Typical threshold: MAG 6–10 Risk level: Medium Failure consequence: Magical accident, Mystic faction anger Recommended knights: Rufus, Silgur, Edith

Assassination quests

Assassination cards test Agility and Charisma for social infiltration plus physical removal.

Typical threshold: AGI 6–8, CHA 4–6 Risk level: Very High Failure consequence: Target survives, counter-intelligence failure, faction anger Recommended knights: Ursula, Angelica

Crowd quests

Crowd or Performance cards favor Charisma and Luck.

Typical threshold: CHA 5–7, LUCK 3–5 Risk level: Low to Medium Failure consequence: Embarrassment, People faction loss Recommended knights: Angelica, Ursula, Gideon (secondary)

Multi-stat quest patterns

Many quest cards combine two or three stat requirements. The Quest Matcher handles multi-stat filtering. Common combinations:

Quest duration and deadline collision

Duration icons on quest cards matter as much as stat requirements:

  • Single-cycle quests — complete within one day, safe for deadline weeks
  • Multi-cycle quests — lock the knight for 2–4 cycles, create scheduling pressure
  • Deadline quests — expire if not assigned within a specific window, often tied to faction crises

Patch 1.0.11 fixed ultimatum quests that incorrectly lasted longer than one cycle. Update before assuming a deadline card is multi-day.
