Sovereign Tower Patch Notes 1.1.0
Two new endings, balance changes, and a full quality-of-life pass — 7 September 2026
Patch 1.1.0 is the largest content update since Sovereign Tower launched on 6 August 2026, published 7 September 2026 for Steam app 4113940. Wild Wits and Curve Games delivered two brand-new endings alongside a broad balance and quality-of-life sweep. As of 8 September 2026 this is the latest build. Bookmark the Updates Hub and pair this page with All Endings Guide, Character Endings, New Game Plus, and Steam Deck.
This is not the post-launch act some players expected — the campaign stays Acts 0 through 3 — but the two endings meaningfully extend replay value and the quality pass touches almost every system players reported friction with.
Why 1.1.0 matters
The changelog runs longer than any post-launch patch so far. The headline feature is two new endings that expand the Cycle 45 Emperor ultimatum tree beyond the original seven outcomes documented at launch. Everything else is a balance and polish pass informed by six weeks of player feedback since August. The patch notes are split into New Content, Balance, Bug Fixes, UI and UX, and Other Changes.
New content — two new endings
The most significant addition is a pair of endings that join the existing War, Extended War, Peace, Peace with Key, Marriage, Surrender, and Tower Destruction outcomes at the Cycle 45 Emperor ultimatum:
| New ending | Trigger condition | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| The Concordat | Reunify the kingdom through diplomatic alliance with the Emperor, high People satisfaction, and at least three faction leaders supporting peace | New dialogue branch; requires Wise archetype tone in final negotiations |
| The Renunciation | Abdicate the tower voluntarily, passing governance to a chosen successor before Cycle 45 | Triggers only if a designated heir has been cultivated through sufficient loyalty events; Demon epilogue differs from Surrender |
These endings are accessible in New Game Plus saves and on existing campaigns that have not yet reached the Cycle 45 ultimatum. The original seven endings remain fully reachable.
Full ending table: All Endings Guide. Romance epilogue variations documented at Character Endings.
